Moving for my husband's work has meant meeting new people and many new clients. My daughter started dance class last year and made a few new friends. One of those new friends is getting a brand new baby brother and I got the honor of photographing their beautiful mommy, Katy.
The location was this beautiful covered bridge that is over a lake and has a grassy field on one side. When I first arrived on location it was perfect. The sun was shining and there was gorgeous golden light. Right after Katy and her family showed up it started to get cloudy. I had kept a check on the weather and it wasn't supposed to rain. Once they were ready in their first outfit we took a few pictures on the bridge and in the grass. By the time we had finished that, the clouds had really moved in. The rain started when we were taking pictures in the second outfit. For the rest of the session we were confined to the covered bridge. Not exactly what I was hoping for, but they were troopers. We powered through and got some absolutely beautiful pictures. I can't wait to see what the future holds for this awesome family!
