Not Just For Kids Anymore
So have you heard about the new trend in celebrating birthdays? How about having a cake smash? I know, I know. Cake smashes are for the littles, right? Not anymore! More and more adults are celebrating their birthday with an adult cake smash session.
Why should kids get to have all the fun? It seems like there is some unwritten rule somewhere that says once you become an adult you have to be serious, mature and lose all your creativity and imagination. I call bull on that. People need to stop taking life so seriously. We only get one life and we need to make sure that life is full of fun.
It doesn't have to be any certain birthday. Shoot, do one every year if you want to! All you need is a bottle of wine (or cider/grape juice), a cute cake and a fun outfit. Let your inner kid out! Have fun! Grab that cake and smash it in your hands or your face, however you want to do it. Dance around and make a fool of yourself. Have a friend with a birthday close to yours? Do a double cake smash! This isn't just for women either. There have been some men that have let loose and done their own version of a cake smash as well.
